This past weekend our chapter president Maddy, vice president of chapter relations and standards, Reese, vice president of risk management Ravina and, vice president of membership programming Natalie attended Alpha Chi Omega’s Leadership Academy.
Leadership Academy is Alpha Chi Omega’s premier training for chapter presidents and executive board officers. The weekend training combines innovative learning sessions with sisterhood to inspire new officers when they return to their chapters. The sisters were able to work with numerous facilitators (some alumnae), HQ staff and fellow sisters across the nation learning valuable leadership and life skills to bring back to the chapter, their committee and sisters. We are tahnkful for the experience and can’t wait to share and implemented all we learned!
Our advisor Britain was able to travel with us to Indianapolis to attend Discovery Experience. Discovery Experience is a donor event held in conjunction with Leadership Academy as an opportunity for alumnae donors to see the impact of our gifts at work. Discovery Experience provided me and others with an opportunity for to:
1. Discover the enthusiasm our collegians have for Leadership Academy 2.Grow her commitment to developing of our collegiate and alumnae members; and
3. Engage more closely with Alpha Chi Omega by experiencing a taste of one of our premiercollegiate programs while learning more about the Foundation’s vision, stewardship of investments, the vision for collegiate and alumnae programs and services, and;
4. Sustain the continued success of Alpha Chi Omega.
