Co-Run Blog Initiative

This blog is truly a “labor of love” from members of Xi Omega Xi Virtual Alumnae Chapter and collegiate members of the Beta Eta collegiate chapter. Our hope is that we are able to give you a glimpse into the collegiate and alumnae membership of Alpha Chi Omega’s from Florida State University.
Additionally, the blog will contain guest posts from the Epsilon Tau Epsilon- Tallahassee Alumnae Chapter, Beta Eta Alumnae, & potentially parents. We hope that you enjoy reading the blog, as much as we do writing it!

Collegiate Chapter Spotlights – Want to know what is going on with the collegiate chapter of Alpha Chi Omega? Be sure to check back to read the recent updates provided by a member of the chapter’s executive board.

Alumnae Member Spotlights – When a young woman is initiated into the bonds of Alpha Chi Omega, she takes a vow of lifetime commitment to the organization. While she will forever cherish her collegiate days as an Alpha Chi Omega, it is through her lifetime involvement that she will make many connections, friends and memories. We are proud to introduce alumnae members of the Beta Eta Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega. If you are interested in sharing your story, or would like to share a story of a fellow sister, please email axofloridastate {at} gmail {dot} com.

518 Updates..  Are you an alumnae nostalgic for the time you spend at 518 West Park Avenue? Are you a collegiate member spending time abroad, missing your fellow collegians hanging out at the 518 Mansion, or are you a parent looking for a glimpse inside the house your daughter calls her “home away from home?” If any of the above relate to you, or if you are just looking to learn more about the 518 West Park Avenue house that the ladies of the Beta Eta Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega call home, then these posts are for you….

Philanthropic Updates A large part of greek life is the commitment to giving back, from posts focused on our national altruism, Domestic Violence Awareness, to post sharing collegiate and alumnae participation in local and national philanthropies, and everything in between – These posts will share what Beta Eta – Alpha Chi Omega’s are doing to make a difference in their communities.

Greek Life/FSU Updates – As we all know too well, the Greek Community often faces  negative stereotypes perpetuated by media, movie and rumors. Our goal is to use this post to highlight positive fraternity efforts as well as highlight local Florida State University Fraternities.

#AlphaChiXOXLyre travels –We look forward to sharing sister stories and connecting sisters thru this virtual project! We have several golden Lyres out with alumnae at all times. We ask that alumnae snap 5-6 photos with the lyre showcasing their work, life, travel, or reunion and share the photos with us along with some information and we will work to create blog posts. Our hope is that these posts will connect BH alumnae worldwide
