
In the month of February, Alpha Chi Celebrates McDowell Month. Named for the MacDowell artists’ residency program in New Hampshire (Alpha Chi Omega’s first philanthropic project), this month also honors our Founders’ heritage as musicians. During MacDowell Month, our members are encouraged to be patrons of the arts, and attend exhibitions, concerts and other events. This past weekend the Ritual and Fraternity Appreciation and Public Relations and Marketing Committee celebrated McDowell month with a visit to the art galleries in Railroad Square. Railroad Square is a WWII-era industrial warehouse park turned urban core art district, it is a 10-acre haven for the CREATIVES of Tallahassee with more than 70 shops, galleries, and small businesses….
