About Light The Night
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night at Florida State University is a community event, where campus organizations and individuals gather as a community to celebrate, honor, and remember those touched by blood cancers. The teams and individuals join together to bring light to the darkness of cancer. The funds raised by this community fund lifesaving research, advocacy and support for blood cancer patients and their families. Join us in the fight to cure cancer!
This year Alpha Chi Omega joined with the fraternity Phi Gamma Delta for the event. Ann K was the Alpha Chi Omega delegate – and also the top individual fundraiser for the event raising $3750.00. Two sisters were also recognized for being in top 30 of fundraising – Zoe S ($550) and Ryan B (500). The following members were recognized for raising $100++ Samantha K, Gabriella V, Isabella D, Ava W, Taylor G, Alexis B, Chloe O, Alexandra O, and Ella C. We are so proud of each and every sister and member of our pairing who participated!!!
The chapter came in second place for overall fundraising, raising a total of $$8670.46
