“I’ve been participating in cheerleading for about 5 years and it’s a passion of mine. I love the teamwork and dedication. This past year I coached cheerleading at a small gym in Tallahassee, and my friends, family and co-workers encouraged me to try out for Florida Sate. The process was three days long, with cuts within every round. Finally, making the team and being able to put on that uniform made me feel like all of my hard work paid off.”
