Krystal Clark, Maryland, has been named chair of the National Panhellenic Conference’s (NPC) new Access and Equity Advisory Committee. This 14-member group has been formed to provide recommendations and guidance to the NPC Board of Directors, and its creation is an important step in helping eliminate the structural and systemic barriers blocking women from access to the sorority experience.
The practice of inclusion in the workplace, classroom, and community and even Recruitment is not new. Though, recent social unrest and concerns across the United States have quickly sparked a fire in many communities and organizations to have diversity, equity, and inclusion as a more prevalent part of the culture in which we live and work. The act of dismantling systems and policies that are inequitable and exclusive can seem daunting and overwhelming. The chapter was able to sit down with Tri-Delta Krystal Clark to discuss how the chapter can address diversity in recruitment
