Light the Night spreads awareness and advocates for those whose lives are affected by blood cancers, such as leukemia, myeloma, and lymphoma. The FSU organization plans the Tallahassee Light The Night Walk, the annual fundraiser for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Teams adjusted this year to a virtual walk and look forward to being back at the annual event on Langford Green November 2021.

Alpha Chi Omegas embraced #LTN with three sisters serving on the Executive Board: Vice President of Recruitment – Jenna Dake, junior and Co-Directors of Public Relations – Sarah Morris, junior and Kala Scott, senior.

Lexi Larkin, MC19, was the chapter’s chair for the event. Her work inspired her to run for Beta Eta’s 2021 VP Philanthropy position (and she won.) We look forward to supporting Lexi and committee’s ideas for #LTN, #R4L, #TheBigEvent, Leon County community service events; connecting with Refuge House; Healthy Relationships Week and Pizza Pie with Alpha Chi (February); Denim Day (during Sexual Violence Awareness Month in April); and Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Donuts for DVA and DVA Gala (October) … and more!

Two more proud Beta Eta moments:
The chapter was First in fundraising this year! And MC20 Lauren Haines, sophomore from Jacksonville, was 4th highest fundraiser bringing $570 to the charity.
